Illegal drugs and dangerous weapons are now off the streets of Idaho

Illegal drugs and dangerous weapons are now off the streets after the arrests of two people in Eastern Idaho. Saturday, the Bannock County, Idaho sheriff's office arrested 36-year-old Jason Miles, and 21-year-old Rose Miranda.

Sheriff Lorin Nielsen says one of his deputies responded to a motor home in a parking lot in Black Rock Canyon, on a child welfare complaint. Inside he found Miles and Miranda, who both had outstanding warrants.

A search produced methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, hundreds of dollars in cash, and several firearms.

Miranda’s four-year-old son was also living in the home. The two were charged with possession of meth with the intent to sell, drug paraphernalia, and felony child endangerment.
